    \nAfter 50 years, our goals remain the same: <\/strong>We are here to encourage the newest conversations, inventions and innovations in the world of ag so that the dealer, the producer and the consumer can all come out on top.
    \nWorld Ag Expo continues to be a marketplace and a celebration of all things ag. When our exhibitors succeed, our attendees and farmers transform their operation, and consumers all over the world are positively impacted by the increased efficiency and the continuous re-evaluation of ‘what we’ve always done’.
    \nAg is evolving to feed a growing world. And we’re here to help facilitate that.

    World Ag Expo began in 1968, and was held at the Tulare County Fairgrounds in Tulare, California. The first show attracted 157 exhibitors and 28,000 attendees. By the second year, the show doubled in both attendees and exhibitors, and continued the rapid growth throughout future shows.
    \nOriginally named \u201cTulare\u2019s Field and Row Crop Equipment Show,\u201d it quickly outgrew its name, and became the \u201cCalifornia Farm Equipment Show\u201d for the second show in 1969. In 1972, the first foreign manufacturers began displaying their products, leading to another name change, \u201cCalifornia Farm Equipment Show and International Exposition\u201d. The current name, World Ag Expo, was adopted in 2001.
    \nWith the increase in international exhibitors and visitors, the United States Department of Commerce sensed an opportunity to enhance the U.S. export trade possibilities.
